I believe the creative process should be a joyful one. However, many self-employed photographers, videographers, stylists, and other freelancers hired to CREATE feel constricted in the work they deliver because of simple business stressors. That’s where I come in.
I can handle the meetings, the paperwork, the invoicing, scheduling, overall communications, even bookkeeping and advertising! Whatever it is you find yourself struggling with, let me take it off your plate.
Your job is to create, mine is everything else.
My Approach
As a computer science graduate, I learned to break big problems into little ones, and then look for ways to make it all more efficient. I find that creative brains work well in chaos, but sometimes you need clarity. I first look at your work process, note any stressors or time-sucks, and go from there. Maybe you have tons of clients, but can’t fit them all in and end up turning away work. Maybe you only have one client and aren’t sure what else you can do to get more. Or perhaps you can do the work, but struggle meeting deadlines or giving accurate timelines for deliverables. I can help!
Simple ideas
What has surprised me the most with working within the production industry is how a simple idea is NEVER simple. What may seem like a small project can end up a big mess if you haven’t planned accordingly.
